5 THINGS YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT OUR ONLINE SHOP

5 THINGS YOU DIDN

There’s a reason why most breweries worth their salt give customers the opportunity to buy beer direct from their websites. In fact, there are several. It allows for the freshest beer to be dispatched, direct from the brewery warehouse. It gives people who are reading about the beer a chance to purchase it there and then – and for online shops like ours that sell beers from other producers as well, it lets our fans know the breweries we know and respect.

So when it comes to our BrewDog online shop, how can you get the most out of it?

1. New DIY Dog Homebrew Section

With DIY Dog being the ultimate tribute to our home-brewing roots, the online shop now reflects this. The new Homebrew section features recipe packs for Punk IPA, 5AM Saint, Dead Pony Club and Jack Hammer, all measured to the specifications of their recipes in DIY Dog. Each pack contains all the ingredients (including the same malt and hops we use at the brewery) needed for a five gallon all-grain brew of the beer, with the printed recipe to follow. We will be growing our homebrew area over the coming months, so stay tuned for more to come!

2. Supporting Other Breweries

If you’re a regular online shop customer you may have noticed that we have been stocking more new and exciting guest beers in our online shop over recent months! We’re focussing heavily on bolstering our selection of kick-ass BrewDog brews with our favourite independent breweries. So currently in the shop we have a brand-new selection of canned beer from Great Divide, some amazing Italian beer from Toccalmatto and one of the best saisons in the world, the seldom-seen (over here at least) Vieille from Crooked Stave.

Oh, and we are also now offering guest brewery swag for the first time online in our new guest merchandise section!

3. BottleBox With Fully Inclusive Shipping!

Something else we have been working hard on is our shipping options. One of the most recent developments in that regard concerns BottleBox, the epic subscription beer club. Our online shop team have worked on batch shipping, meaning we can offer fully-inclusive shipping for everyone within the UK who signs up for BottleBox. So craft beer fans in the entirety of Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and all of UK islands, including the Channel Islands can rest easy that they won’t pay more to receive their BottleBox subscription.

4. Make the most of your order!

Speaking of shipping, it costs the same for us to transport a single bottle of Punk to you as it does 48 cans. By running the numbers and filling each case to the brim, you can get the most craft beer for your buck at the same shipping cost. The way we work it is each case has 24 slots, with cans taking up half a slot and clothing zero (up to two items of merch per order can sit on top of the case). So you can therefore order up to 48 beers and two t-shirts/hoodies for just a single delivery charge. If you don’t want that much, maybe order with a friend and that cost is then halved!

5. Beer to go...to go

We may be preaching to the converted here, but you guys sure love canned craft beer! As we head into the deeper months of summer they are the perfect way to enjoy super-fresh beer wherever your travels happen to take you. As such we have compiled a Cantastic Case of 24 BrewDog canned beers, which can also be picked up as a car boot-friendly 48-pack for those camping trips or weekends away. The case features Punk IPA, This Is Lager, Dead Pony Club and Jack Hammer, and keep your eyes peeled for more mixed cases arriving in the online shop at regular intervals!

And if there is anything else you would love to see in our online shop, let us know in the comments below!

Have you started an order an pickup service yet? Its cheaper for me to pass by the brewery or one of the bars than to pay for delivery.

Dogman - Supermarkets such as Tesco have greater economies of scale than we do, so they can offer our products (mainly a small amount of our core range) at a lower price. You can obviously get a much wider range of our beers from us then you can from Tesco!

I'd love to see the direct from online pricing compete with high street supermarkets, why is you beer cheaper from Tesco, Morrisons and Aldi than buying direct?
