In recent blog posts we've updated you on our plans for 2016, given you some epic numbers from 2015, and detailed a rundown of the beers that are currently in our tanks (and barrels). But there’s another thing we need to bring you up to date with – our subscription beer club BottleBox.

Because we are psyched to say it will launch in a couple of weeks - and you can sign up for the BottleBox mailing list here!

It has taken a while to get over the line, but only as we wanted to dial everything in and get it 100% from the off – with the right beers, the right partners and launched in the right way. With the time spent, we have worked out the fine detail on everything and are now less than two weeks away! So, how will it work?

Well, for a start we are not just going to offer one beer subscription service…but two.

For our epic army of Equity Punks, we have something very special indeed – a dedicated BottleBox with a dozen epic beers inside. From there, our shareholders can select from one of the following three options…

A) 12 BrewDog beers. Delivered monthly. £40 per month.
B) 12 BrewDog beers. Delivered bimonthly. £40 every two months.
C) 6 BrewDog and 6 guest beers. Delivered bimonthly. £40 every two months.

Our Equity Punk BottleBoxes will contain exclusive and limited-edition beers, as well as special BrewDog launches, and every third box will feature super-rare merch you can’t buy in our online shop (or anywhere else). We will be importing beers fresh from the US and mainland Europe for the guest options, and all prices include UK delivery (and also the 20% shareholder discount)!

The second subscription service is something slightly different – we have also decided to open BottleBox to the craft beer-loving public at large. With a further three options…

D) 8 BrewDog beers. Delivered monthly. £23 per month.
E) 12 BrewDog beers. Delivered monthly. £30 per month.
F) 18 BrewDog beers. Delivered monthly. £37 per month.

Our public BottleBoxes will contain a selection of our amazing craft beer, including launches and BrewDog merch every third case. Prices are inclusive of delivery to your mainland UK address of choice. All payments will be taken via recurring payments and we are hugely excited to announce that both the Equity Punk and Public BottleBoxes will go live to our craft beer loving fans around the world at the same time (see Update below).

Online beer clubs live and die by the quality of what is in the box – and we can nail this with BottleBox from the start – our own beers come right off the packaging line, and we can go direct to the guest brewers to get the most exciting, recently-released beers as possible. For the first BottleBoxes they are locked in and ready to go - so don't forget to sign up to the mailing list for further details!

UPDATE 03/03 - To our international fans, we have worked super hard and have dialled in all options above for overseas markets from the time BottleBox goes live! Standard international shipping rates will apply, as will the countries we can ship to (for a full list of both).

Anonymous - I've double-checked and it's UK mainland only, I'm afraid - there will still be a surcharge to Northern Ireland. I've changed the text over to indicated that, thanks for pointing it out!

Can you clarify if the price of the 8 bottle box is going to 23 quid to Belfast? Because is usually significantly higher postage for me but you've stated the price includes delivery to any UK address

A quick BottleBox Update! For those asking about International Shipping and delivery, we have worked super-hard and will be able to offer BottleBox to many of our overseas BrewDog fans and investors when it launches! Check out the 'Update' text above and visit the link for countries we can ship to (it's the same as our regular shipping schedule).

And again, to Sam and others who are asking about the difference between option A and option E - the Equity Punk case will contain exclusive, limited edition beers and merchandise you can't buy in the online store!

Tristan R - It's one free subscription per shareholder, sorry!

Chris W - Yes, you can sign up to alternate bimonthly cases to get one per month if you like!

I don't understand why option A is £40 and option D is £30

What do you get for the extra tenner?

Better beer, beer goodies. For 10 quid if it's just merch I'd want something better than bottle opener or glassware. People investing in these boxes will already have a range of glassware in there cupboard so something special needs to happen every month to make it worth the cash.

I'd be interested to know if I was to purchase a further 40 shares (I already have enough to qualify for this year's free membership) whether I would get a second year's free subscription to Bottlebox and Abstract? Would be tempted if this was the case. Cheers.

Will it be possible to get options B and C in alternate months (so one box per month, but 12 BrewDog beers one month and 6 BrewDog/6 guest the next month)?

This is great news! Just one quick question. Will Equity Punks who qualify for both the Abstrakt and Bottlebox releases, having invested £1900 or more, be automatically sent cases using our Brewdog account address etc, or do we have to follow any sort of additional signing up process?

Yes i know one is every two months, but with the number of Brewdog beers available, does this mean Box A will get two or more of some bottles?

I'm a shareholder from Italy, it seems I can't benefit this promotions, it's a shame. Have you guys plans to allow also other EU citizens to receive your beers via mail or through your local vendors/pubs?

Excellent news! Looking forward to this. It will give me the opportunity to test out some beers that I haven't got round to buying. I'd be surprised if anything comes close to the perfection that is Black Eyed King Imp though.
Also, the public bottle boxes will give non-shareholders more exposure to BrewDog. I'll be persuading a few beer-loving workmates to sign up to this.

Eck - Another great question. The short answer is any time. If you invest over that threshold in Equity for Punks IV before it closes, you'll be added to the next release of BottleBox. So you may not be on the first one (for example, depending on when you invest), but you will still get a twelve-month subscription.

Nick F - There will be ;)

Andrew Dudley - It depends on the month, in all honesty, but we will make the selection as varied as possible. And your second question the answer is unfortunately no, as you predicted ;)

DavidE - BottleBox is very much about the beer! The Equity Punk box will contain exclusive and limited-edition beers. :)

This sounds great but I am a bit baffled. Why, as an EP, would I spend £40 for 12 beers instead £37 for 18? There will need to be a significant difference between the box contents.

Andy - Great question. All who invest at that level will automatically receive a year's subscription to the BrewDog/Guest BottleBox (so C on the list above)

Chris - No, sorry!

David P - That's something we hate about other subscription clubs - so no, you will be able to change between options really easily :)

Simon G - They come through the same channels as our online shop deliveries, so will have to be at an address specified, not a BottleDog or BrewDog bar.

Martin - They will be small-batch, Abstrakt and some of the Equity Punk-exclusive brews

Is there any chance we can collect from your great Bottle Dog shop in Edinburgh instead. Just prevents someone pinching it off the doorstep or having to go and collect it from the parcel delivery place each month?

Rich - Can you give us an example of a recent BrewDog brew that would have been classed as "exclusive and limited-edition" for the Equity Punk box that wouldn't be in the public one? Is it as simple as "EQ boxes may contain Small Batch / Abstrakt brews, public boxes won't"?

2 Questions

Firstly, with option A) Will Brewdog be able to produce 12 Different Exclusive / Limited Edition Beers each month? I have had other Beer Clubs that occasionally have repeats and I am not a fan

Secondly, I am assuming the Guest Beer option can only be Bimonthly to make sure you have the opportunity to get the freshest Guest Beers possible, is there no possibility of a Monthly Guest Beer Option?

I really like the idea of the Guest Box, but at the cost of having to wait 6 Months for Limited Addition Merchandise!

Equity punks get beer for £3.30 a bottle (including a 20% discount), whereas Joe Public can get it for £2 a bottle?

As nice as "exclusive merchandise" can be, isn't it traditional for beer clubs to be about the beer?

I'd be very interested in signing up to a box, but no-one seems to have mastered a subscription that can be tailored to certain dietary requirements.

I would love to see the option to have a vegan box of beer delivered! At the moment I can't justify spending the money if a percentage of the beers may not be suitable.

Be awesome if BrewDog led the way with this, especially after your recent Vegan Society accreditation.
