Last night, Equity for Punks V, our fifth crowdfunding raise, closed its doors raising over £26.2m, smashing the world record for the most successful equity crowdfunding raise! Kicking off in October 2017, we hit our initial target of £10 million in under 90 days. Following this unprecedented demand, we extended our latest round to enable more people to join our community and fuel our mission of making other people as passionate about great craft beer as we are.

Thanks to the 50,000 people who helped us raise over £26.2 million in our latest round of Equity for Punks.

Equity for Punks is all about community, and these amazing people are the lifeblood of our business and central to our success. Launched back in 2009 to kick-start the craft beer revolution, Equity for Punks has now raised over £67 million from more than 94,000 people around the planet, and we are stoked to have you on this wild ride with us, sharing in our success and shaping our business.

We’ve had a fantastic year so far, from opening the world’s first hotel in a brewery, launching our very own TV Network, and opening even more hop-havens around the globe, including our OutPost BrewPub series.

Funds raised in Equity for Punks V will support expansion of both our HQ brewery in Ellon, Scotland and our US brewery in Columbus, Ohio, as well as accelerating the construction of our new brewery in Brisbane, Australia, and also kicking off BrewDog China.

Last week we announced the BrewDog Blueprint, outlining our manifesto for the next Decade of Dog and how our focus on our beer and our people will shape our future plans. One initiative we launched was the BrewDog bar franchise, where we’ll be offering all Equity Punks the chance to set up their very own craft beer bar, which will be funded by investment made in Equity for Punks V!
