HEI BREWDOG TAMPERE!

At BrewDog we will never quite forget what happened the day we announced we were coming to Finland. In 2014 we suggested opening a bar in Helsinki and the beer-crazy Finns crashed our servers in the rush to talk about it, leaving us trending on Twitter in the process. It was amazing – and proof (if any were needed) that the people of the land of a thousand lakes love their craft beer. Well now they have another place to call home.

BrewDog Tampere is open and ready for business!

We have uncovered a gem of a location in this amazing city two hours north of the capital. A stone’s throw from the mighty Tammerkoski that has powered Tampere for centuries, we have the perfect place to recharge with 18 taps of craft beer, poured by GM Viivi and a specially-selected crew of hop-loving diehards. You can find BrewDog Tampere at Vuolteenkatu 1, 33100 just next to the Ratina stadium!

We have an iconic restored 1950’s building to call home, and within ten minutes’ walk from the train station, bus station and much of the shopping areas in the city. If you head for a walk in any of the parks that line the banks of the Pyhäjärvi then we have the perfect pit stop – super fresh beer from ourselves and breweries from across Europe and beyond that we know and love. You can also grab beer to go when the long summer sun is shining! (or at any other time of year)

Speaking of the warmer months, being on a pedestrianised street means we have the perfect opportunity to add an incredible outdoor terrace during the spring and summer – so check back soon for the best way to kick back and enjoy the Finnish weather. We are also offering up a range of local cheeses and charcuterie, all paired with craft beer as suggested by our Cicerone-trained bar crew!

BrewDog Tampere opened for the first time on Friday November 7th and will be open 14.00-00.00 Mon-Thu, 14.00-02.00 Friday, 12.00-02.00 Saturday and 16.00-00.00 Sunday. It is the seventh BrewDog Bar we have opened in the space of a month and this is a testament to the incredible work of our bars crew – and shows how keen people are to try craft beer in all its forms, wherever in the world they happen to be.
