As the dark clouds gather, we have for you a shining light. Nanny State exists to prove that alcohol-free need not equate to taste-free – and to celebrate its return to the online shop we decided to give four classic tales of dystopia and rebellion the BrewDog treatment. In a society increasingly bereft of reason, rail against the Nanny State with a beer of the same name, one that evades repressive tyranny with its soul intact.

The original protest beer rises up against a tide of mass-produced zero-percent offerings on one side and the totalitarianism of the draconian powers that be on the other.
It is a true saviour, brewed with eight different malts, six different hops to 50 IBU and yet at 0.5% ABV. Brewing a full-flavoured non-alcoholic craft beer is no easy task. But as it beats the system by tasting like beer should, then we are prepared to go the extra mile in creating our modern-day liquid rebellion.

As for the video, quite amusing. I have the feeling that working with and for these two gents would make for an interesting day. Practical jokes I am sure are played on those willing to partake.
It has a fantastic spike of flavor that has the sharpest drop to nothing I have ever experienced. It is like taking a bite out of a lemon, only to experience the sharpness for 1 second before tasting pure water.
If you manage to round off the spike to retain the flavours in the mouth for longer, you will have created the best non-alcoholic beer ever.
