The amazing thing about beer is that there is always something to learn. A fact you never knew, a piece of history that had escaped you, or an entire style of beer to discover. It’s partly the reason why we put pen to paper on our book Craft Beer for the People and it’s very definitely the reason behind our latest offering, set within our Columbus brewery and adjacent to our brand new beer-themed hotel The DogHouse Columbus.

Beer knowledge is power. Welcome to the BrewDog Beer Museum.

Firstly there’s only one way to peruse this series of interactive exhibits. With a beer in hand. The BrewDog Beer Museum is no po-faced seat of silent contemplation. Grab yourself a cold Ohio-brewed Punk IPA or Elvis Juice and wander throughout, checking out exactly how water, hops, malt and yeast made it into your glass in such perfect balance. If you have ever wondered how beer is made, tasting whilst learning is so much cooler.

The museum is about much more though, with a series of exhibits about BrewDog and our place in the world of craft beer (and now the US). We have scoured our UK warehouse, brewery and offices for items that represent our history and have put them on display. Wander around and take in the scent of malt and hops from our brewhouse, get hands-on with the ingredients in their raw form and then check out beers from our back catalogue that have used them to great effect.

The BrewDog Beer Museum is located at 96 Gender Road, Canal Winchester Ohio and part of our DogTap taproom – so is perfect to combine with a meal and beers inside or on our patio. Plus it sits next to our DogHouse Columbus hotel, launched yesterday, which features 32 en-suite rooms with shower beer fridges, Punk IPA on tap and views of our brewery throughout.
