TWEET THE BREWER IV IS COMING!
We’re stoked to announce #TweetTheBrewer IV: A New Hope!
Much like the Rebel Alliance in the first Star Wars, we needed someone to step up to the plate. Following kick-ass Twitter takeovers by Bowman, Captain James and The Famous John Allen, we knew we needed someone who could live up to the high standard of interviewee that the BrewDog community has come to expect!
So we went down to DogTap one Friday night to brainstorm. Pieminster pies were eaten, beers were poured and names were scribbled onto various pieces of brightly coloured paper. But then, just as we were whittling it down to the last few awesome candidates, the doors of the bar burst open, the music stopped and our obvious answer was looking right at us.
Well, looking up at us.
Our Commander-in-chief strolled nonchalantly over to the table, whilst the bar staff rushed over with a bowl of water and a plate of the finest sausages. Our fearless leader thanked them with a bark and a nod. Simcoe paused and turned his attention to us, leaping onto the table top and pulling off an expert landing, all the while managing not to spill a drop of our beers (he’s very wary of wastage you see).
His eyes met everyone else’s in turn and with one swift motion he knocked all but one of our rainbow of post-it’s from the table, before stamping a paw print onto the remaining note. With an authoritative growl he descended from his perch and slowly walked out the door, stopping only to briefly chase his own tail and to get a belly rub from a few DogTap regulars.
We were stunned at what had just transpired. But we’d found our candidate.
So from 4pm-6pm on Wednesday the 11th of March, Simcoe will be answering all your questions on the BrewDog Twitter account. You can ask him anything, what it’s like to be the brains behind BrewDog, how he keeps James and Martin’s shenanigans in check or simply “WHO’S A GOOD BOY?!”
Make sure you’re free on Wednesday 11th of March – this one will definitely be lively! Get your questions in now by tweeting @BrewDog using the hashtag #TweetTheBrewer.
