BrewDog Franklinton Is A Go!

Look out Columbus, you’re now officially a three dog town! We thought it only fitting to kick open the doors of our third location, BrewDog Franklinton, as a kick-off to our favorite week of the year – Columbus Craft Beer Week. After all, who wouldn’t want to celebrate such an occasion by worshipping at one of our beer temples? And lucky for those that do, as of today, Friday May 11th, at 11:00am, BrewDog Franklinton has officially opened its doors to the public.

The entire team was pressing all week to get Franklinton ready - prepping the 48 taps of full of fresh local and international craft beer favorites, perfecting the new burger and sandwich offerings for a great meal to wash down with those cold beers, and getting the bar and restaurant in ship shape & ready for fans to arrive.

And arrive they certainly did. The first three brave souls were camped out in line before 7:00am to ensure they got one of the coveted 8 free tattoos in our tattoo giveaway with Evolved Body Art. By the time doors opened at 11:00am, we had given away all 8 tattoos – guaranteeing there are 8 more BrewDog craft beer crusaders out in the world, spreading the good word and drinking BrewDog beers from our bars globally at a 20% discount. We also welcomed 100 loyal customers in with open arms and empty pints, ready & waiting to be filled. We wrapped the welcome party by giving away some truly epic prizes.

Couldn’t get out of work early to make our grand opening? Don’t worry – there is plenty waiting for you when you do get down there. With tall ceilings, a floor to ceiling wood accent wall and two garage doors that open to a large street level patio, our Franklinton location is bright and airy. Fans will also find a large merchandise selection, booths as well as long community high top tables and bar seating for a variety of seating options to choose from.

However, the crème de la crème for this location is the rooftop terrace which, in our humbled and unbiased opinion, stands head and shoulders above most spots in the city. With a spectacular city view, deck flooring and a container bar with 24 taps, this spot is really one to savor. And starting from today, Franklinton will be operating regular hours - Monday to Thursday 11am – 12am, Friday and Saturday 11am – 2am, and Sunday 11am – 11pm.

Franklinton has been a labor of love but in the end, this two-story brewpub was worth every amount of effort as it is truly an epic destination in an already awesome neighborhood. We cannot wait to finally serve up super-fresh craft beer for our friends and all the new fans we’ve yet to convert to BrewDog believers.
