With the weekend in the rear-view mirror you may be thinking there’s not much to look forward to until Friday. But you’d be wrong – there’s always amazing new craft beer to enjoy, whatever day of the week it is (thanks to next day delivery). We have recently added a series of new and returning beers into our online shop at brewdog.com so let’s check out the arrivals and run the rule over what you could be drinking before we even finish hump day.

East Coast Crush

Released at the end of last week we have brand new cans of our session-strength New England IPA East Coast Crush. Formerly a draft-only release this beer is high on hops, low on bitterness and big on taste and is a perfect example of the style that has taken over the UK beer scene of late. New England IPAs are intensely juicy and full-bodied, and arrive as characteristically hazy as a Vermont sunrise. East Coast Crush is hopped with Chinook, Citra, Mandarina Bavaria, Mosaic and Simcoe giving huge aromas of tropical fruit, pineapple and lime zest backed by a smooth delivery.

Beatnik 2019 – Sticky Toffee Pudding Imperial Stout

You can buy Beatnik 2019 online here

Our Equity Punks are the heart and soul of BrewDog, and every year we give them carte blanche to design a beer of their choosing; inviting them up to Ellon to check the beer out when it is ready (this is just one of the perks of being a BrewDog shareholder). Once they return home we make the beer available to all – and this year’s release is ready to go. For 2019 the Beatnik beer is a truly mighty 9.0% sticky toffee pudding Imperial Stout – a fireside after-dinner treat that is smooth, sticky and with notes of dark chocolate, coffee and syrupy toffee.

BrewDog OverWorks Perennial Punnet

Our masters of alternative fermentation at the BrewDog OverWorks have created their take on one of the classic partnerships of their art – barrels and berries. For generations brewers have added the latter to the former and used the incredible influence of bacteria and wild yeast to create exceptional tart, dry and sour beers. Perennial Punnet is the latest in that lineage; a ruby-hued sour with whole Scottish blueberries, raspberries and strawberries that bursts with fresh berry jam notes and subtle Brett funk tartness.

Punk AF

You can buy Punk AF online here

Still available in our online shop is the culmination of our mission to prove that alcohol-free does not equate to taste-free. Punk AF brings all the attitude of Punk IPA, all of the flavour – but none of the alcohol. Clocking in at 0.5% ABV and with less than 50 calories a can it has juicy tropical fruit flavours mixing it up with grassy and pine notes, all sitting on a solid malt bassline. Recently proclaimed the best alcohol-free beer in Britain by both the Sunday Times and Shortlist magazine, it is full flavour, no alcohol, all Punk.

All four of these beers are live in our online store at brewdog.com right now and Punk AF, East Coast Crush and Beatnik 2019 should be available in your local UK BrewDog Bar. As ever, if you get a chance to try them let us know your thoughts by giving us those tasting notes on social media!
