THE HOP HUB TAPROOM IS HERE

Our number one goal at BrewDog is to get our beer to you in the best condition possible – and the secret weapon in this unending mission is about to break cover. Located just outside Glasgow is Hop Hub – our 130,000ft² fully-chilled warehouse. This ice temple is the waypoint in getting amazing quality beer from our brewhouse to you – but from this Friday, you can go straight to the source. We have fitted out our Hop Hub with its own taproom.

The Hop Hub Taproom opens at 4pm today, Saturday 14th December. Perfect for stocking up your fridge in time for Christmas!

As the name suggests, Hop Hub is the perfect place to head for beer as fresh as you can get it. Attached to our fully-chilled warehouse* the beer will have never left our cold store, so you know you’ll be getting the freshest, highest-quality BrewDog beer short of visiting our Ellon brewery and parking yourself at the end of the packaging line.

*Whilst the warehouse and cellar are chilled, the taproom itself rocks to room temperature, so you won’t need to wrap up (unless you want to).

The Hop Hub Taproom is located at BrewDog Eurocentral, 2 Condor Glen, Holytown, ML1 4UY, just north of Motherwell in North Lanarkshire. It is a short detour from the M8 in either direction – if you are travelling from Glasgow, leave at junction 7 and if you’re heading westbound on the M8 take junction 6 and follow the A8 and signs to Eurocentral. If you live in Motherwell, Coatbridge or other areas of North Lanarkshire – then your new local BrewDog tap is open!

The Hop Hub taproom will be pouring from ten taps of super-fresh BrewDog craft beer, including alcohol-free options, all of which are ready and waiting from today. As befits its location, when the time comes to hit the road again we have a range of beers to takeaway. If you’d rather stay then we have you covered too – the tap room will be majoring in freshly-made legendary BrewDog pizzas. Why stop at a service station ever again?

Hop Hub is hugely important for us – it is a time capsule, protecting our (and your) beer from the perils of flavour deterioration caused by warm conditions. As Europe’s first fully-refrigerated beer warehouse for national distribution, we had to fit it out with a taproom so you can see, first-hand, our commitment to beer quality. And then sample it for yourself.

The Hop Hub taproom opens at 4pm today, Saturday 14th December, and will then be open 12pm-10pm every day of the week. To celebrate its opening, the first fifty people through the doors will be entered into a draw to win a series of amazing prizes, including a year’s free beer, a trip for 2 to the source of that beer in Ellon and more.
