BREWDOG HONG KONG IS OPEN!

It’s been a couple of weeks since our Great International Bar Hunt kicked off another year of amazing International BrewDog bars – and here we are with the first opening for 2016. Fittingly, we have found a perfect city with which to celebrate; a place known throughout the world as a neon playground that rocks to an all-night attitude.

BrewDog Hong Kong opens today.

Our new temple to craft beer will open its doors at 6pm this Thursday 4th February, at 19 Hollywood Road in the Central District of Hong Kong Island. A short distance from the iconic Victoria Harbour, the bar has as a backdrop the panoramic Peak of the same name, and is a ten minute-walk from Central Station. For those seeking a more leisurely arrival, it is steps away from the Central-Mid-Levels Escalator and Walkway System – so glide on in for a beer or two!

Speaking of which, Manager Zack and his hop-loving crew will be pouring 14 taps of craft beer from ourselves, a number of specially-selected global breweries, and some amazing local Hong Kong-area beermakers including Young Master Ales, Moonzen, the Kowloon Bay Brewery and more. Head along to see the ever-changing selection of the freshest local and imported beer around.

BrewDog Hong Kong is directly over the road from one of Central’s most notable colonial buildings – the Old Police Station, and if you want to stay in the bar for a long stretch it can accommodate with a fantastic food menu. We have an international kitchen team in place, so expect a fitting selection of small plates and classic soul food, including French Dip sandwiches, burgers and more!

The bar will also be offering Beer Schools for those in the area seeking to learn a little bit more about the sheer majesty of craft beer, so get in touch and discover its secrets! One of the themes of all our bars is breaking down these barriers, and BrewDog Hong Kong is no different. The food menu, for instance, is also inspired by the influence of beer pairing and how different combinations work wonders.

Our beer has been available in Hong Kong for several years now, and our many fans there have been asking for a bar of their own for about as long! We are hugely excited to be able to finally bring one to them and the other craft beer fans of this global crossroads. BrewDog Hong Kong opens at 6pm local time today. See you there!
